autistic burnout happens in every autistic person’s life whether it is recognised or not as being that.

insight
autistic burnout is a “chronic exhaustion, loss of skills and a reduced tolerance to stimulus”. burnout can affect every aspect of an autistic person’s life – where it can resemble depression, but is typically caused by a prolonged stress from trying to ‘fit in’ with society. it can last anywhere from a few days to years and can’t be cured.

solution
